Angel's Kiss

I found this picture while surfing thru a card site.. and fell in love with it.. and the following poem is what came soon after.. Now, after fighting with the editer to get it to look like i wanted it too.. it still isn't right.. so.. the bold words are his, the others are hers.. the ending mine *grins* okay? good. here we go.

Feathers, Strength
Blindingly white, Flows from his being
Flow from her shoulders, His eyes are kind
So soft and touchable.. Yet I hesitate..
Unbelievable Does he believe?
Do I dare? I want him to touch me
I reach for her.. Closer, wanting him to see
She comes to me His eyes are gentle
They are as soft as they look His touch tender
And so real.. I want to stay with him.
Who is she? Can it be?
Why is she here? I need him.
Dare I hope she came for me? That's why I came
She looks at me He looks at me
Fire in her eyes.. Love in his eyes
My god she's beautiful My god he's beautiful
Her touch is soft as silk His hand is strong, yet gentle
Stopping my heart Quickening my breath
Tenderly I return caress Tender touches,
Trading touch for touch Caressing, longing
Am I dreaming? I must be dreaming
Dare I give her my all? Can I give in to him?
Embracing, escaping, Holding, loving
Together as one- Together as one-
At last I give in and taste I offer my all and taste
Her angle's kiss. His human kiss.
                                                 

They love as one,
Hearts and minds together
Yet forever apart
Connected, separated
Torn away to do as they should
Yet each longing to taste
Their lover's kiss.
